101 Austen, Jane. Pride and Prejudice.
Mlles and Miles, London 1900
A highly uncommon edition which David Gilson appears not to reference in his bibliography and the British Library does list. Not dated, but likely 1900 - 1910. Original publisher's dark-green cloth (i.e. hardcover) with gilt lettering and blind-stamped decorations to front panel and spine. 384 pp. A Good only, slightly imperfect copy with the usual rubbing and scuffing to covers., and light bumps to corners Internally clean and firmly-bound for the most part, though the front cover-hinge has sprung and the first signature is a touch loose. There is a previous owner's annotation on the title page; else pages are showing uniform, quite heavy, browning throughout, and there is a previous owner's name and a splash on the front endpaper. Overall, though, a decent example.
