Original grey publisher's cloth ornately tooled in gilt floral decorations to the cloth; gilt titles to upper cover and spine; edges untrimmed. x, 206 pp. First edition thus. A VG+ nice, sharp copy showing slightest rubbing to edges and corners. The hinges are in excellent order and the text block and illustrations are firmly-bound. Some minor offsetting to the endpapers. The uncut edges of the pages are uniformly toned, but contents are very clean. A very attractive example and very uncommon in this condition. 6594

Two volumes bound into one. Third edition. Attractively bound in red half-morocco with maroon cloth boards; gilt titles and devices to spine. 521, 311 pp.; occasional b/w illustrations. Non-authorial ink gift dedication to a previous owner and a small label-removal shadow on front free endpaper. Else, a clean, tightly-bound copy with very light, very occasional scattered foxing. The boards are a touch bumped at the corners and the spine is a touch faded. Overall, a very decent, sound copy.

Gilson E150 Five volumes, first limited editions thus. Uniformly bound in half green morocco with red labels and gilt titles and design to the spine. Overall a good tight set, showing some overall fading to brown on the spine and edge. Some rubbing and minor wear to edges and corners, but the hinges are still in excellent condition. All edges gilt and with no ink marks or writing internally. Heavy set some extra international shipping charges may apply.
