First edition hardcover. Bound in publisher's original orange cloth with blocked gilt titles to spine. xii, 207, [1] pp.; text decorations and chapter-heads by Minton throughout. A VG copy with no dust-wrapper. Corners are a little bumped, the extremities are a touch darkened and marked, and there are some light marks to page-edges. Otherwise, a clean and sound copy - contents are firm, tight and clean. A pleasing example overall.

Bound in original beige cloth with gilt titles blocked in dark tan to spine. x, 207 pp.; illustrated with text decorations throughout with by John Minton. A Good+ copy, noticeably faded to spine and rubbed at the extremities. The covers are showing a few light marks, notably to the rear panel. Contents are tight, clean and inscription-free; there is some off-setting from a rusted paper-clip affected the top edge of the first few pages - the text is unaffected. Otherwise, a decent, clean copy with just a couple of fox-spots to page-edges.

Black paper-covered boards over white-cloth spine. 153 pp.; with a wood block frontispiece by Eric Fitch Daglish. Good condition with no dust-wrapper. Corners are bumped and the edges worn - there is some erosion and loss to the rear-panel fore-edge - and there are a few marks to the covers. Internally clean and firmly-bound with a little foxing to early and latter pages, and some spotting to outer page-edges. A decent reference, enhanced considerably by the additional watercolour.
