Hardback with dust-wrapper. 244 pp. Good condition, with quite noticeable bumping and rubbing to the spine and corners, and a little spotting to outer page-edges. In a slightly edge-creased wrapper showing a few spots of browning and light marks. Internally clean and tightly-bound with no previous owners' marks. A decent reference-copy, housed in a protective dust-wrapper covering.

Hardcover with no dust-wrapper. First edition, 1932. 473 pp, with mono plates; tipped-in errata slip. Original publisher's olive-green cloth binding, though new endpapers have been laid in. Generally Very Good condition with bumps, light scuffs and splashes to the covers, plus some light wear to the spine-edges. Outer page-edges are a little dusty and darkened but contents are clean and tight. A nice copy.

Third edition in dust-wrapper. xviii, 259 pp.; three coloured plates. A clean, solid copy in publisher's brown buckram covers showing light bumps to the spine and corners; internally clean and tight with scattered foxing to pages and the outer page-edges. In a presentable wrapper with chips to the extremities (with some spots of paper-loss to the upper edge and corners), creasing to edges, and general overall browning, especially on the spine. A pretty decent example, however, housed in a protective dust-wrapper sleeve.

Second edition. Good+ condition hardback with no dust-wrapper. xiv, 133 pp.; coloured frontispiece. Publisher's black buckram covers showing bumps to the spine and corners and a few scattered marks to the front and rear panels. Internally clean and tight, save for the odd smudge and mark here and there, with light spotting to the outer page-edges and some browning to the endpapers. In a presentable wrapper with chips to the extremities. A previous owner's name is inked onto the front endpaper. A pretty decent example, however, housed in a protective dust-wrapper sleeve.
