Bound dark tan leather, with gilt borders and decorations to upper and lower covers; neatly rebacked, with raised bands, blind-embossed compartments, and gilt titles on a black title-label; painted page-edge, marbled endpapers and gilt dentelles. viii, 494 pp. Previous owner's book-label to inside front cover. A VG copy showing rubbing to the edges and light scuffing to boards. Leaves are very tight and clean, with very occasional and very light spotting. Overall, a very presentable copy.
