With 24 coloured illustrations by C. E. Brock. Stunningly bound in full vellum, with ornate gilt floral decorations and gilt titles to upper cover and spine; top-edge gilt; uncut page-edges. A VG+ example that is showing some minor bowing and light, unobtrusive spotting to the vellum boards. Internally, the pages are tightly-bound and clean, with occasional light spotting to some leaves; a previous owner's gift dedication to the half-title. The outer page-edges are slightly darkened. Overall, a very good example indeed.

A VG+ nice, sharp copy showing slightest rubbing to edges and corners. The hinges are in excellent order and the text block and illustrations are firmly-bound. Some minor offsetting to the endpapers. The uncut edges of the pages are uniformly toned, but contents are very clean. A very attractive example and very uncommon in this condition. 6594
